- The removable sofa cover is machine washable – the wash cycle depends on the chosen fabric: linen at 40°C on a gentle cycle, Guest at 60°C on a gentle cycle, Autumn for professional dry cleaning only. Close all zips before washing and avoid bleach, tumble drying and chemical cleaning. Lay the cover flat to air dry and only put it back on when completely dry – this keeps the shape and colour looking their best for longer.
- Dust with a feather duster or dry cloth. Wipe off light soiling with a damp (not wet) cloth. If necessary, the wood can be re-oiled after a few years to freshen it up and keep it resistant.
- Cleaning & Repair

- If stains are still visible after washing, you can wash the cover again with a little more mild detergent – linen at 40°C, Guest at 60°C. Stubborn stains can often be removed by soaking in lukewarm water with detergent for 1–2 hours. For Autumn covers, take the cover to a professional dry cleaner for stubborn stains. Avoid bleach or stain sprays to preserve the colour and structure of the fabric.
- Heavy soiling and scratches can also be removed selectively with the ekomia care sets. The stains are removed with furniture oil and pads with different levels of abrasion - depending on the degree of soiling.
