Street art on canvas

Emma Rytoft's colourful paintings enliven any room, whether a child's bedroom, office or living room. Her works are inspired by philosophy, physics and biology and invite the viewer to explore the deep meaning of dreams, freedom and feminine power.

With bold black outlines and bright colours, she combines elements of surrealism with elements of pop art such as irony and repetition to create her own language.

Hands Collection

The artist's works reveal a fascinating fusion of surreal realities and personal experiences. Her works create alternative worlds in which human figures, often obscured by clouds, plants or animal faces, exist in a vivid and enigmatic environment.

These worlds are imbued with philosophical, physical and biological inspiration drawn from her daily life. Symbols such as clouds, birds and cacti convey the meaning of dreams, freedom and resilience and question the supremacy of rational intelligence.
