      A cold foam mattress offers high sleeping comfort, good point elasticity, and a breathable structure. Thanks to its flexible composition, it adapts point-elastically to your body shape – suitable for side sleepers, back sleepers, and couples.

      What Are Cold Foam Mattresses?

      A cold foam mattress is made from polyurethane foam that is foamed at comparatively low temperatures – hence the name “cold” foam. The open-pored foam supports air circulation and enables even pressure distribution. 7-zone cold foam mattresses provide zoned body support – from head to toe – and can contribute to an ergonomic lying position.

      Due to its low weight, a cold foam mattress can be easily turned or transported. Many models are available as reversible mattresses with two firmness levels (e.g., H2 and H3), allowing you to choose the preferred firmness. Cold foam is also frequently selected for partner mattresses in larger widths, as movements on the opposite side are often less noticeable.

      Cold foam mattresses are available in common sizes such as 90x200, 120x200, 140x200, 160x200, 180x200, and 200x200 cm, as well as in extended length with 220 cm.

      What Should I Consider When Buying a Cold Foam Mattress?

      When purchasing a cold foam mattress, pay attention to the density (RG). A higher density generally indicates a higher material density and may contribute to a longer service life. A density of around 40 kg/m³ or more is often considered a solid specification. The firmness level is also important: H2 is typically suitable for lighter individuals or those who prefer a softer feel, while H3 is usually chosen by heavier individuals or those who prefer a firmer feel.

      What Should I Keep in Mind During Use?

      To support even wear, it is advisable to turn or rotate the mattress regularly and ensure proper ventilation. For reversible mattresses with two different firmness levels, regular rotation and ventilation are generally sufficient. A removable, washable cover made from breathable materials such as organic cotton can make cleaning easier.
