The right table size for the square table
In our table-size-advisor you will find detailed information about the perfect table size. In summary, you should know the following: A dining room table should have about 60 cm of space per place setting and chair. The depth should be at least 80 cm. This provides comfortable space for plates and food in the middle of the table. The table should be around 76 cm high so that you can use standard chairs.
At ekomia we offer square dining tables in three sizes: 80x80, 90x90 and 100x100. All sizes are suitable for a maximum of 4 people, the only difference is whether you can fit everything on the table for the big dinner.
We are also flexible with the height. You can choose between three heights: 73 cm, 76 cm and 79 cm. Here we recommend using your own height and chair sizes as a guide.

Wild oak (or knotty oak) dining tables, also known as rustic oak, show a lively grain with knotholes and natural features. When grading the wood, darker parts tend to be selected for wild oak. Dark colour and distinctive grain give the wood a rustic and authentic character.

Esh is a rather light-coloured wood with a striking dark core. Ash wood has high strength and elasticity. At ekomia, we use the ash wood with core for dining tables for a unique grain, for other furniture we use only the light parts.
