How can I configure my customised dining table at ekomia?
The ekomia custom-made tables made of certified solid wood can be designed according to your wishes in just four steps. This is how you proceed:
1. Choose your type of wood
First choose the type of wood that appeals to you most. Oak is a real classic among the available materials. Ash is somewhat lighter and has a distinctive grain. Wild oak and walnut are our elegant beauties. Beech has a reddish undertone, beech heartwood has dark colour inclusions.
2. Decide on a surface treatment
Choose a colourless or a light ecological oiling. The light oil is enriched with white colour pigments. This gives the wood a slightly whitewashed, lighter look. A colourless, natural treatment with wood oil emphasises the grain.
No matter which choice you make: Due to the oiling, our wooden tables retain their open-pored surface and thus their natural characteristics. The wood can absorb and release humidity. This has a positive effect on the room climate.
3. Choose your edge design
We can produce the edge finish of your table according to your wishes. Choose between angular edges and rounded corners. We also offer two intermediate shapes that give the tabletop an individual look, such as the Swiss edge.
4. Choose the right size
Finally, you can select the width, length and height of your dining table - and your personal unique piece is ready.
