In her art, Tanja deals with dream and emotional worlds that are evoked by the experience of nature. Her aim is to record these impressions and put them on paper.
It is the mystery hidden behind the scenes of everyday life that attracts her. The life behind the façade, the skeleton, the feelings, the muscles, the thoughts, the story. She experiments both on canvas and on paper to bring the hidden to the surface.
Her aesthetics do not exclude themes that can also be perceived by some as dark or repulsive.
