    From a mattress width of 160 cm, the mattress core is always made up of two individual cores. You can choose whether both cores have the same firmness or different firmness levels (e.g. “Medium + Firm”).

    For a size of 180 × 200 cm, this means two 90 cm cores, for example. The cores can either be glued together to form one continuous core or supplied as two separate cores inside a shared cover (see section “Core”).

    Soft corresponds to H1, Medium to H2, and Firm to H3.

    Cover made from 100% organic cotton (GOTS) with 300g/m² organic cotton (GOTS) quilting, straight quilting – machine washable, vegan.

    Sheep’s wool

    Cover made from 100% organic cotton (GOTS) with 500 g/m² quilting of sheep’s wool (GOTS), wave quilting – temperature and moisture regulating.

    Lyocell (TENCEL™)

    Cover 69% organic cotton (GOTS) & 31% Lyocell (TENCEL™) with 400 g/m² Lyocell fleece filling, straight quilting – cellulose fibre, washable, vegan.
    Core

    For mattresses wider than 160 cm, the cores are always made from two individual cores (e.g. 2 × 80 cm). You can choose whether you would like two separate cores in a shared cover or whether you would like us to bond the two cores together to form one continuous core.

    Natural latex at an entry-level price

    Twisp Basic features a 12 cm core made from 100% natural latex and is available in Medium (H2) and Firm (H3). The mattress offers ergonomic comfort with 5 comfort zones, including a shoulder zone, and is suitable for back, stomach, and side sleepers.

    In general, Twisp Basic is suitable for all weight ranges. The medium-firm version (H2) is a good choice for lighter individuals up to around 60 kg, for side sleepers, and for anyone who prefers a softer sleeping feel. From a body weight of around 70 kg, we recommend the firm version (H3) in combination with a sprung slatted base.

    Dimensionally stable, durable and moisture-regulating

    Natural latex delivers excellent lying comfort, high thermal insulation and lasting shape stability. The material retains its form even after years of intensive use – an advantage that many other mattress materials cannot offer.

    Latex mattresses provide high point elasticity: they give way only where pressure is applied, adapting precisely to the body's contours. The open-pore structure of natural latex also regulates moisture and temperature – for a comfortable sleeping climate all year round.

    Covers made from three natural materials

    You can choose from three certified cover variants:

    • Cover with 300 g/m² quilting made from 100% organic cotton (GOTS) – washable, vegan.
    • Cover made from 100% organic cotton (GOTS) with 500 g/m² quilting from organic virgin wool (GOTS) – temperature and moisture regulating.
    • Cover 69% organic cotton (GOTS) & 31% Lyocell (TENCEL™) with 400 g/m² Lyocell fibre quilting – cellulose fibre, washable, vegan.

    All variants feature a full wrap-around cover with zip closure made from high-quality double cloth and an inner cover made from 100% organic cotton jersey (GOTS).

    Care
    • Rotate and, if necessary, flip the mattress every 2–3 months to prevent pressure points and help maintain its shape for as long as possible. Air it out regularly, ideally without a duvet, to allow absorbed moisture to escape. The cotton cover and the lyocell cover are removable and machine-washable at 60 °C. After washing, pull the covers firmly into shape while damp. The wool cover is not washable – please remove stains only locally using water and a sponge.
