Three simple ideas how you can give your shipping boxes a new meaningful life.
Dear DIY friends,
finally after a long corona break we can present you something new again.
To keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, we use only recycled cardboard when packing our furniture. Although we pack the ekomia furniture as compactly as possible, there is a lot of cardboard left over after assembly.
So we thought about reuse. After all, cardboard is stable and is even suitable for furniture construction.
This has resulted in three DIY projects , which you can simply rebuild at home.
Are you still looking for a cheap night table for your bed? The Kartoni bedside table can be cut out of packages with a minimum width of 45cm and simply put together.

Cut out the cardboard and put it together (in order for the tablecloth to be stable, it should be placed on top of each other twice)
Then the table can be glued to the connectors with the wood glue.
Ready is the good design piece. There is enough space for a night lamp and books.

A perfect holiday activity to start school is the design of these two Organizer. They can be implemented beautifully during a creative afternoon with the family. Barrito and Spike are intended as paper and pencil holders. You will need Packaging with 30cm width.
Print stencils for (Barrito and Spike) and put it on cardboard.
Then cut it out, paint it individually with colourful acrylic colours and let it dry.
Finally the two figures are put together.
