Working student (m/f/d) – E-commerce, marketing & content

April 10, 2026

Part-time · Enrolled · Flexible start date

You love good design, want to work in a close-knit, creative team, and care about responsible business practices? Then you might be a great fit for us.

At ekomia, we design timeless furniture from FSC-certified solid wood. In practice, that means clear communication, clean data, quality content – and a lot of teamwork. As a working student, you'll find tasks that match your skills. We'll figure out together where you can make the most impact.

Your potential responsibilities (flexible – depending on your strengths)

E-Commerce & Fulfilment

  • Supporting product data maintenance in our inventory system (spreadsheets, CSV uploads)
  • Creating products in the online shop including metafields, images, and descriptions
  • Supporting order processing, service enquiries, or supplier communication
  • Assisting with shipping coordination with our logistics partners
  • Analysing and improving product presentations in the shop

Marketing & Communications

  • Managing our social media channels (posts, community, stories)
  • Supporting photo shoots, events, or campaigns
  • Image and video editing (e.g. cropping, retouching, thumbnails, short clips/reels)
  • Supporting newsletter or blog content
  • Research and maintenance of marketplace or partner data

What you bring

  • You are enrolled as a student and looking for a working student role with real practical experience.
  • You work reliably, in a structured way, and independently.
  • You can express yourself clearly – in writing and verbally, in both German and English.
  • Digital tools, AI, and modern working processes come naturally to you. Experience with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets), image or video editing (e.g. Figma, Adobe Suite), or coding skills (HTML/CSS) are a plus.
  • Some experience with Shopify, e-commerce, CSV tools, or social media is a plus – but not essential.
  • You enjoy working in a team, can take feedback pragmatically, and contribute to creating the best possible customer experience.

What to expect

  • A close-knit, creative team with flat hierarchies and open communication
  • Working on products that stand for FSC-certified materials, quality, and aesthetics
  • Flexible working hours, ideally coordinated around your studies
  • Space to contribute your own ideas and try new things
  • The chance to take on real responsibility and see the impact of your work
